Mazda Miata was a two-door sports coupe that ran from 1990 to 1997 and from 1999 to 2005. Its first year, it incorporated a 1.6-liter, in-line, four-cylinder engine that put out 116 horsepower. In 1991, base and SE trims were available, and in 1993, you could get an LE trim.
By 1994, there was a convertible body style offered, plus an M Edition trim, sporting a 1.8-liter I4 engine capable of 128 horsepower. 1997 saw an STO trim released, which shelled out 133 horsepower, and in 1999, a 10th Anniversary trim capable of 140 horsepower appeared. 2000 brought an LS trim with 138 horsepower, 2003 offered a Shinsen trim with 142 horsepower, and 2004 made a Mazdaspeed trim available; the last featured a turbocharged engine ready to dish out 178 horsepower.
